Pleos App Market Registration Information

The basic information of apps uploaded to the App Market must be conveyed transparently without distortion or misleading content and must not contain inappropriate material. Apps that use users' personal or location data must submit terms of service and a data processing policy, and the developer and administrator of the app must be able to prove their legitimacy. If deceptive behavior is detected through metadata manipulation, the App Market may immediately remove the app and impose permanent sanctions.

Basic Information

Basic information must be entered accurately.

  • Enter accurate information when creating a developer account and registering an app.
  • Basic information includes but is not limited to the app name, description, developer name, icon, and images.

No inappropriate content should be included in any basic information.

  • Profanity or abusive language, violent depictions, direct/indirect sexual content, and depictions of crime or illegal activities (drugs, terrorism, etc.) must not be included.
  • Content that is difficult to verify, such as App Market performance, rankings, or revenue, should not be included.
  • Text emoticons or repetitive special characters should not be used in basic information.

The app title and icon should concisely communicate relevant information about the app.

  • Content that is similar to or duplicates other apps or is misleading is not allowed.
  • The app title must not exceed 30 characters (in English).

All metadata must be submitted in the language of each selected target country.

  • It must be written in the language used in each service region.

When selecting a category, choose the one that best fits the app.

  • If the designated category is inappropriate, it may be changed arbitrarily.

The app icon must include representative content and be submitted in the correct format.

  • To verify the icon display status, the icon image must be submitted.

Size: Maximum 1MB, Dimensions: 512 × 512 px, Format: PNG or JPEG

App images displayed in the store must illustrate key features, and at least two images should be submitted.

  • You can attach up to 8 images.

    Size: Maximum 8MB per image, Dimensions: 2560 × 1380 px / 1700 × 1212 px / 840 × 1212 px, Format: PNG or JPEG Example: Screens showing before/after functionality, unique app features, etc.

  • Images will be displayed in a slideshow in the order they are uploaded.
  • If the submitted icons and images differ from the actual app, approval may be denied.

Package files must be submitted as APK files.

  • The maximum compressed file size users can download must be less than 600MB.

The app’s age rating must be appropriately applied according to the content.

The handling of user personal data, use of location data, app permissions, and transmission of advertising information must be transparent and honest.

  • If the app processes user personal data, a privacy policy must be submitted.
  • If the app uses location services, the terms of use for location information and related policies must be submitted.

If login is required for the app, an account with all access permissions for review must be submitted.

  • An actual user account, not an administrator account for developers, must be provided.
  • Even if a guest account is available, a regular user account should be provided.
  • For web apps, an accessible account from the linked pages must be provided.

Supporting Documents

Apps must obtain legal rights through a recognized institution in the respective country or region and provide supporting documentation if required.

If an app has rights to use third-party intellectual property, relevant supporting documents must be submitted.

  • Intellectual property refers to legally protected rights under copyright law, including brand names, websites, logos, and audio or image-based creative works.

If the app is created on behalf of or authorized by a government or governmental agency, documentation proving this must be submitted.

  • This document must be submitted by the relevant government or governmental agency.

For apps that connect to web pages, such as web apps, domain registration verification for the applicable web page must be provided.

  • Obtain a domain registration certificate from your hosting provider and submit it together.

If a certified medical institution has been authorized to develop and distribute an official app through a partnership, supporting documents must be submitted as proof.

If you intend to distribute adult games in South Korea, you must submit the Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC) rating results and related supporting documents.

  • Adult games: games that include gambling or casino-style elements, or contain suggestive content depicting nudity or explicit/implicit acts.
  • In South Korea, all adult games must directly obtain a rating from GRAC.
