Pleos Playground Updates

This update improves the Pleos Playground developer experience by enhancing site navigation and introducing new documentation search functionality. The site and developer guides have been reorganized around the app development workflow, making it easier to find the information and resources needed at each stage of development.

New Features​

Developer Journey Guide​

The Developer Journey guide provides a step-by-step overview of the Pleos app development process, from initial setup through development and testing.

In Pleos Playground, go to Discover > Developer Journey.

The search icon at the top of Pleos Playground provides access to documentation search.

Improvements​

Pleos Connect Developer Guide​

The Pleos Connect Developer Guide has been reorganized around the Pleos Playground developer journey. Documentation is now structured around the app development workflow, from getting started through planning and design, development and integration, testing, and app registration, making it easier to find the relevant resources at each stage.

Getting Started with Pleos Connect App Development

The following key guides are now available:

  • Pleos Connect Virtual Console Guide
  • Form Factor Test Guide
    • Provides instructions for testing whether apps are displayed correctly across different display resolutions and orientations in Pleos Connect Emulator.
    • Form Factor Test Guide
  • Vehicle SDK Sample App Guide
    • Provides instructions for using a sample app to explore Vehicle SDK workflows, including supported vehicle capabilities, current vehicle state, state change requests, and subscribing to change notifications.

The LLM SDK has been discontinued. For app integration with Gleo AI, use the Gleo Interface.
