App versions are managed to ensure traceability of app change history and smooth review processes.

App Version Management Policy​

  • The app version must be changed whenever an app is distributed or submitted for review.
  • Any change that affects the app, including feature updates, bug fixes, and configuration changes, must be managed through a version update.
  • If the app version is not changed, change history cannot be verified, and app review may not proceed or may be rejected.
  • Development and release owners must verify that version information has been properly updated before submitting for review.
